What This Tool Shows
- Complete redirect chain with status codes (301, 302, 307, 308)
- Server geolocation — IP address, country, city, and provider
- HTTP response headers for each hop
- Response time for each request in milliseconds
Types of Redirects
- 301 — Permanent Redirect
- Passes link equity to the new URL. Use for permanent page or domain moves.
- 302 — Temporary Redirect
- Doesn't pass link equity. Use for temporary redirects when you plan to restore the original URL.
- 307/308 — Method-Preserving
- Preserve the HTTP method (POST stays POST). 307 is temporary, 308 is permanent.
